The Next Genius Project

Igniting Curiosity, Opening Doors

By breaking down barriers and fostering a supportive environment, The Next Genius Project empowers students to explore their potential and discover opportunities they might never have imagined.

Program Overview

The Next Genius Project offers FREE single and multi-day events designed to help young people discover the exciting world of technology—and to help parents and teachers identify hidden potential. Some students may seem bored or distracted in class, while others quietly excel without much recognition. This program creates a welcoming space where every student can shine, regardless of their background or classroom experience.

How It Works

Participants dive into hands-on coding workshops, mentor panels, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge tools like robotics, AI, and Web3. These interactive experiences are designed to spark curiosity and inspire new interests. Parents and teachers are encouraged to observe and help spot students who show curiosity, creativity, or a spark for innovation—so that every young person with potential can be recognized and supported on their journey.

What You’ll Experience

  • Hands-on Coding Workshops: Build your own mini-projects and discover the fun of programming with guidance from friendly instructors.
  • Mentor Panels: Hear real stories from tech professionals, ask questions, and get advice on how to start your own journey.
  • Tech Demos: Try out the latest in robotics, AI, Web3, and more—see what’s possible and imagine your own future in tech.
  • Career Exploration: Learn about a wide range of tech pathways and discover opportunities you might never have imagined.

Our Goal

To spark passion for technology, break down barriers, and help every student—whether overlooked or already excelling—find the support and inspiration they need to become the next genius. By involving parents and teachers, we ensure that talent is recognized and nurtured, not missed.

The Impact

The Next Genius Project transforms lives by giving students early exposure to technology and real-world career possibilities. Many participants discover new interests, build confidence, and develop practical skills that set them apart. By connecting young people with mentors and hands-on experiences, the program helps unlock hidden talent—especially among those who might otherwise be overlooked. As a result, more students see themselves as future innovators, pursue further learning in tech, and take the first steps toward high-impact careers. The ripple effect extends beyond individuals: families, schools, and entire communities benefit as new opportunities and inspiration take root.

The Gap in Tech is Getting Worse

In 1995, 5.6% of computer scientists were from under represented comunities. Today, it’s only 4.2%. The percent will continue to decline if we do nothing. We know that the biggest barriers in computer science occur during college years and early career transitions, with significant drop-offs between bachelor’s degrees and advanced degrees or industry positions.
